The Bottled In Bond Act of 1897 was written to ensure the consumer was informed the
contents of that bottle were of quality standards and made in compliance with industry
standards. In modern times, this ensures the consumer knows three major things: It’s at least 4
years of age and all the whiskey is harvested from the same season, it is bottled at exactly 100
proof, and perhaps most importantly, the labeling states where it’s made and who bottled the
whiskey inside.
Boulder Bourbon
Bourbon made by Vapour Distillery in Colorado,
How It’s Made
Virgin American Oak Barrel (#3 Char), bottled at 42% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Woody aromas of cedar, popcorn, roasted pecan, & banana cake with a round, dry medium body & a warming, medium-length cinnamon Danish finish. A bold craft whiskey that offers tasty notes of sweet cinnamon pastry.
Why We Like It
This is a scotch drinkers bourbon! Made in a single pot still with a 51% corn/44% malted barley/5% rye mashbill. The malt definitely gives this crushable bourbon loads of flavour.

Boulder American Single Malt – Peated
Earthy, yet faint, peat smoke permeates throughout. Rich mouth-feel, woodsy, and intriguing. This is one of very, very few peated malt whiskeys aged solely in virgin oak.
Boulder Bourbon – Sherry Cask
Spiced fruitcake, mulled wine, velvet-esque mouth-feel. This might be my favourite Boulder release of all! The sherry is present but well integrated without being overbearing. Delicious juice!
