How It’s Made
Green River Distillery, Owensboro Kentucky. Small batch bourbon is produced 6 barrels at a time. One the whiskey is aged to perfection. Our founder breaks down unique and exotic barrels with his axes and sledgehammer. The various barrel staves are placed into each batch, which we call our Oak Bill.
Tasting Notes
Crimson Brown liquid. Nose: Fruity oak aromas layer within a melange of deeper dark cherry notes and baking spices. Palate: Caramel body, balanced sugars, dates, persimmons and cranberry notes. Finish: Peppery with some Cabernet tennis, fruity body and sweetened honeycomb-like finish

Every bottle of Broken Barrel features an Oak Bill. A distinct combination of oak staves used to finish and add complexity to every batch of our whisky.
80% Central Coast Cabernet Cask Staves, 20% French Oak Staves . Mash Bill: 70% corn, 21% rye, 9% malted barley.
